Launching of «Terminal East» was the first experience of FARMAT’s team of managers.

In 2005 a warehousing complex in Zhukovsky City ( Moscow region) was purchased. On the basis of this complex the Company as a warehousing pharmaceutical operator became rendering services on storage and warehousing treatment of freights by the largest world Manufactures of pharmaceuticals.

The specialized pharmaceutical “Terminal East” became a real testing area for working out effective logistical decisions. Here the staff was gaining professionalism, technological decisions were being improved, the system of logistical services was being developed.

The whole service complex «Terminal East» was initially oriented to individual approach to the needs of clients, their partners. Here the services on customs clearing and certification of the delivered goods are rendered. Pharmaceutical specialization of the warehouse allowed using it for storage of drastic medical products.

Cooperation with «Terminal East» gave the manufacturers a real opportunity to save time and cash expenditures and to increase controllability of the whole logistical chain. Thus, for example, long-term cooperation with «Terminal East» has resulted for SANDOZ Company - one of the basic partners of the terminal - in multiple increase of goods traffic speed.

The demand for «Terminal East» in the pharmaceutical market of made FARMAT experts to regard necessity of the next step - starting operation of a specialized warehouse complex of a new generation. Therefore it was decided to start up a new, more powerful pharmaceutical logistical complex of FARMAT in Istrinsky district of the Moscow region.

A new complex allowed overcoming the main restriction, arising while operation of “Terminal East” – impossibility of construction on the existing limited areas of the National Distribution Center of the Manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. Large areas of FARMAT allows resolving this problem.
