GlaxîSmithKline chooses FARMAT as approved logistics services supplier
FARMAT’s storage warehouse has been examined for compliance with GDP international standards at the initiative of British drug maker GlaxoSmithKline Healthcare.
Following the successful examination of the company’s standing operating procedures, warehouse equipment and safety, ventilation and climate control systems, logistics centre FARMAT was found GDP-compliant, and the Pharmaceutical terminals company has become the approved supplier of logistics services for GlaxoSmithKline Healthcare.
In addition, the drug maker’s division GlaxîSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Russia, which currently uses FARMAT’s facilities for drugs storage, has decided to sign a quality agreement. The document is to lay out bilateral relations and set forth storage requirements ranging from the term of operating activity to the list of warehouse sanitation means.
