On May, 15, 2009 the Zelenograd Customs Office entered the temporary storage warehouse (TSW) Terminal-Vostok Ltd., located within Farmat warehouse complex, into the Customs Register for warehouses for temporary storage.

By opening the TSW on its premises the specialized logistic operator FARMAT has completed establishment of full-range service on pre-wholesale preparation of pharmaceutical produce for distribution all over the Russian Federation.

TSW Terminal-Vostok Ltd. Is an open-type warehouse and, under the RF Customs Code, may be available for storage of all types of commodities, and may be used by any person. Moreover, the equipment of the temporary storage warehouse is specialized for drugstore and hospital commodities.

The storage conditions in the temporary storage warehouse of Terminal-Vostok Ltd. Comply with all the necessary requirements for pharmaceuticals storage. Besides the basic storage zone, the new TSW has been equipped with the cold storage zone (+2…+8 С°), 103 m² in area and with the capacity of 100 palettes.

The TSW open site area is 481 m². The commodities storage term with the TSW is specified by the general customs legislation and shall not exceed 4 months.

The total premise area is 1567 m², capacity – about 2600 palettes.

The TSW of Terminal-Vostok Ltd. is situated to the address: 2, letter B, Dachnaya st., Davydovskoye village, Istrinskiy district, Moscow region. It is located in the same complex with the specialized logistic operator “Farmatsevticheskiye Terminaly” being inseparably associated to it in technology. This can secure the highest available service level of customer service, increase the commodity circulation speed and customs clearance, as well as reduce the cost of logistic service. Besides, the risk of cargo damage is reduced, while all the logistic services may be available “in the same window”.

Temporary storage is one of the most important procedures of the commodities customs clearance. During the customs clearance there is often the necessity of storage of commodities under the customs control. Such necessity is caused by the time required for check of the customs declaration, preparation of commodity declaration documents, obtainment of licenses and certificates. Special premises – temporary storage warehouses, integrated into the customs surveillance zone, - are used for temporary storage. Each temporary storage warehouse shall be equipped with the special premise and an open site. The choice of temporary storage warehouse requires careful attention.
