The company Merck, Sharp & Dohme has opened its own distribution centre on the basis of Farmat warehouse complex
Merck, Sharp & Dohme Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Pharmaceutical terminals Ltd have signed a partnership agreement according to which the activities on creation of distribution centre Merck, Sharp and Dohme started up in the territory of Farmat warehouse complex.
The own distribution centre will allow the company Merck, Sharp & Dohme performing prewholesale preparation of medical products for allocating on all territory of Russia.
Besides within the limits of the agreement the logistic operator Farmat has possibility to give to the company Merck, Sharp & Dohme full service package of customs clearance on the basis of its own temporary storage warehouse.
While selecting the warehouse operator, experts of Merck, Sharp & Dohme carried out the analysis of tenders in the Russian market of pharmaceutical logistics. As Tatyana Chevtaeva, the General Director of the company has commented the result, the decision to choose «Farmat» has been specified by that fact that this company not only declares, but also confirms in practice treating a client as the Client. «We have been offered the shortest terms of the distribution centre organization and they were observed completely. The presence at Farmat of the temporary storage warehouse became one more essential moment of our choice», - added Mrs. Chevtaeva.
